When deciding which parcel tickets are required (both base and excess), please make sure you are familiar with the following, so your parcel size is consistent with the excess tickets you need to apply, based on either actual weight or the volumetric weight (whichever is greater).

Courier Post Local Tickets
Send parcels quickly within city limits. Choose Non Signature, or for a small additional charge choose Signature Required the signature of the addressee or the person accepting the delivery will be collected for extra security and peace of mind.
Non Signature: Local Courier Tickets.
Local - Within city limits, no signature required on delivery. Maximum weight 25kg.
Signature Required: Local Required Courier Post Tickets.
Local - Within city limits, parcel must be signed for on delivery. Maximum weight 25kg.
Courier Post Local Town Tickets
Choose Non Signature, or for a small additional charge choose Signature Required the signature of the addressee or the person accepting the delivery will be collected for extra security and peace of mind.
Non Signature: Local Town Courier Post Tickets.
Local Town - Up to 75km within an island, no signature required on delivery. Maximum weight 25kg.
Signature: Local Town Courier Post Tickets.
Local Town - Up to 75km within an island, parcel must be signed for on delivery. Maximum weight 25kg.
Courier Post One Sector Tickets
Choose Non Signature, or for a small additional charge choose Signature Required the signature of the addressee or the person accepting the delivery will be collected for extra security and peace of mind. Excess Weight Tickets can be added for heavier items.
Non Signature: One Sector Courier Post Ticket
One Sector - Up to 150km within an island, no signature required on delivery. Maximum weight 15kg.
Signature Required: One Sector Courier Post Ticket
One Sector - Up to 150km within an island, parcel must be signed for on delivery. Maximum weight 15kg.
Excess Weight: One Sector Courier Post Ticket
One Sector Excess - Up to 150km within an island, required for each 10kg over the original 15kg allowance included in base ticket.
Courier Post Two Sector Tickets
Choose Non Signature, or for a small additional charge choose Signature Required the signature of the addressee or the person accepting the delivery will be collected for extra security and peace of mind. Excess Weight Tickets can be added for heavier items.
Non Signature: Two Sector Courier Post Ticket
Two Sector - Over 150km within an island, no signature required on delivery. Maximum weight 5kg.
Signature Required: Two Sector Courier Post Ticket
Two Sector - Over 150km within an island, parcel must be signed for on delivery. Maximum weight 5kg.
Excess Weight: Two Sector Courier Post Ticket
Two Sector Excess - Over 150km within an island. Required for each 5kg over the original 5kg allowance included in base ticket.
Courier Post Island to Island Tickets
Island to Island Courier Post tickets are available as 'Normal Service' or 'Economy Service' options.
Choose Non Signature, or for a small additional charge choose Signature Required the signature of the addressee or the person accepting the delivery will be collected for extra security and peace of mind.
Maximum weight 5kg per item. Excess Weight Tickets can be added for heavier items.

Island to Island - Delivery between North & South Islands, no signature required on delivery. Maximum weight 5kg.
Signature Required: Island to Island Courier Post Ticket
Island to Island - Delivery between North & South Islands, parcel must be signed for on delivery. Maximum weight 5kg.
Excess Weight: Island to Island Courier Post Ticket
One Excess ticket is required for each 5kg over the original 5kg allowance included in base ticket.
Economy, Non Signature: Island to Island Courier Post Ticket
Island to Island Economy - Delivery between North & South Islands, 2-3 day delivery target, no signature required on delivery. Maximum weight 5kg.
Economy, Signature Required: Island to Island Courier Post Ticket
Island to Island Economy - Delivery between North & South Islands, 2-3 day delivery target ,parcel must be signed for on delivery. Maximum weight 5kg.
Economy Excess Weight: Island to Island Courier Post Ticket
One Economy Excess ticket is required for each 5kg over the original 5kg allowance included in the Economy base ticket.
Courier Post Rural Delivery Ticket
For a small additional charge deliver to over 200,000 rural delivery addresses via the New Zealand Post network. Please note that delivering to rural addresses can add between 1-3 days to the standard targeted delivery times.
